Limestone2025R_Millard_S3 is a plantation forestry project located approximately 15km south of Macarthur and 50km northwest of Warrnambool in the Green Triangle region of Victoria. It was registered in July 2025 and covers 391.18 ha.

Plantation forestry projects typically involve establishing new plantations, converting short-rotation to long-rotation plantations, or avoiding the conversion of a plantation to non-forested land. In this case, the project sequesters carbon by avoiding the conversion of an existing or harvested plantation to non-forested land, continuing the plantation forest specifically for the commercial harvesting of wood products.

The Macarthur and broader Green Triangle region is well known for commercial forestry operations, as well as livestock grazing and dairy farming. The area is considered a relatively high rainfall zone, and local soils generally consist of sandy loams along with heavier basalt and clay soils derived from the region's ancient volcanic plains.

Interestingly, the proponent for this project was varied in December 2025 from a trust associated with New Forests (The Trust Company Limited as trustee for ANZFOF2 Sub 1) to the major regional timber operator, OneFortyOne Plantations Pty Ltd. The project is managed with SFM Environmental Solutions acting as an agent, and an official amendment to the project boundaries was recorded in September 2026.
