Kimberley White Fish Creek Foster Road Plantation

Project Information:
Kimberley White Fish Creek Foster Road Plantation is a plantation forestry project located in Fish Creek, approximately 169km southeast of Melbourne in the South Gippsland region of Victoria. It was registered in June 2026 and covers 9.29ha.
Plantation forestry projects involve sequestering carbon by establishing and maintaining new forests specifically for the commercial harvesting of wood products. Under this methodology, the trees must be planted at a sufficient density to eventually achieve forest cover and must be managed according to standard commercial forestry practices.
The Fish Creek area is well known for dairy farming, viticulture, and rural acreage properties. The region is situated in a high rainfall belt, typically receiving over 1000mm of rain annually, and the soils are generally fertile, well-draining Yellow Kurosols.
This project sequesters carbon by establishing a new plantation forest for the commercial harvesting of wood products. The property itself sits at a high elevation featuring sweeping views toward Wilsons Promontory, an area that has become increasingly popular for rural retreats and boasts a vibrant local arts community.
