AA2026R_ReynoldsL_S3 is a plantation forestry project located near Buckland in south-east Tasmania, approximately 60km northeast of Hobart. It was officially registered in July 2026.

The region generally experiences a cool-temperate climate with moderate to low rainfall by Tasmanian standards (often averaging between 600mm and 800mm annually). The local terrain and soils are variable, typically featuring podzolic soils derived from sandstone, clay loams, and highly fertile alluvial soils along the river flats and watercourses.
This specific project generates carbon credits by establishing a new plantation and actively avoiding the conversion of an existing, recently harvested plantation back to agricultural pasture or non-forested land. The project's proponent is The Trust Company (Australia) Limited acting as trustee for The Tasmanian Carbon Afforestation Sub-Trust, with SFM Environmental Solutions acting as the project agent and manager. A notable fact is that the sub-trust is highly active in expanding Tasmanian forestry and frequently partners with the Australian Government's Support Plantation Establishment program.
