SCOOF2026R_DuncraigP_S1 is a Plantation Forestry project located near Macarthur in western Victoria, roughly 40km south of Hamilton. It was registered in June 2026 and covers a project area of 350.58 hectares.

Plantation Forestry projects involve establishing, maintaining, and harvesting commercial plantation forests, or converting from short-rotation to long-rotation operations. Standard requirements include achieving specific stocking densities and actively managing the trees for commercial timber production.

The Macarthur and greater western Victoria region (part of the Green Triangle) is historically known for broadacre sheep and cattle grazing, as well as extensive commercial forestry operations. The area is classified as high rainfall and the soils are typically basalt derived from the Victorian Volcanic Plains, alongside clay and sandy loam.

This project sequesters carbon by establishing and maintaining a new plantation forest for the commercial harvesting of wood products. The project's proponent is 70 Hampden Road Pty Ltd, an entity incorporated in 2022, acting as trustee for the SCOOF Bronte Investment Trust. The project operates alongside SFM Agribusiness Pty Ltd, an independent Australian forest management company that manages approximately 50,000 hectares of natural assets, including 35,000 hectares of hardwood and softwood plantation assets.
