Jinglemoney Farm Carbon Project (Revoked)

Project Information:

Jinglemoney Farm Carbon Project (Revoked) was a soil carbon project located approximately 5km from the town of Braidwood in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales. Registered in April 2015, the project covered an area of 502.75 hectares. The project was revoked in September 2025 under Section 30 of the CFI Rule, which indicates a voluntary revocation by the project proponent, Corporate Carbon Solutions.

The Braidwood region is characterized by a temperate climate with moderate rainfall, typically supporting cattle and sheep grazing on granitic or clay-loam soils. The land associated with this project, Jinglemoney Farm, is known for grazing operations, specifically linked to Hereford cattle production. The project operated under the 2014 "Sequestering Carbon in Soils in Grazing Systems" methodology, which required landholders to establish a baseline of soil carbon and implement new management activities, such as pasture renovation or altered grazing intensity, to sequester additional carbon in the soil profile.

Specific project notes indicate the use of the "SoilSense" program to manage pasture and increase soil carbon levels. The project involved Agriprove Pty Ltd as a participant, a company specializing in soil carbon project development. Despite its long registration period, public records indicate the project did not issue any Australian Carbon Credit Units (ACCUs) prior to its revocation.
